Let me introduce Chika to you today.
She is the Venus of the youth.
She's one of the women I know who goes extra miles for her customers.
Her customers = Japanese youth
She helps young Japanese people to come to Australia who want to experience the beauty of this country.
Well, if I describe what she does in a sentence like this, it may sound easy enough.
But like I said earlier she goes EXTRA MILES.
She is an employee working for this agency to connect Japan and Australia.
What inspired me is that she created many platforms to help people to understand how, what and why you choose Australia and she does that
ON HER OWN TIME & MONEY.
Her passion and attitude towards helping youth just amazes me.
I've known her for over a decade and every time I talk to her I learn something from her.
As you can imagine, she has many allies everywhere and that's because of her personality.
She used to be employed in a big corporate Asahi Beer in a marketing department.
To get a job at such a big company is a big challenge and achievement in Japan. Leaving that huge corporate world and come to Australia with little English is even more challenging, That was 2006.
When she came to this country to have a big adventure she had many episodes that let her down all because of her disability of speaking or understanding English. She could have gone back home to Japan but she didn't.
She studied English and decided to help other Japanese like her to come to Australia using her experience. She knows what to expect, what to prepare, where to go etc.
